About Me

Having grown up multiculturally in the US and abroad, I have a great appreciation for many ways of life. I’ve always been interested in other people’s stories, especially the need of finding one’s place through the world.

I use a combination of traditional talk therapy (Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy), creative approaches (Art Therapy) and somatic work (Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping) to support your exploration and healing. I also enjoy educating, using meditation, pop cultural references, and an occasional take home assignment to help further your self-exploration.

Therapy shouldn't be intimidating. You can expect me to be warm, compassionate, honest, humorous and insightful. I will also be challenging you at times, since therapy is about the work to get you where you need to go.

Topics I support clients managing include mood disorders, anxiety, stress management, trauma, life transitions, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ issues, and perfectionism.

I have a dual Bachelor's in Fine Art and Psychology from Albright College (Reading, PA), and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University (Washington DC). I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient programs, day centers, and assisted living facilities before opening a private practice in 2016.

I enjoy mentoring and channel that energy into supervising newly licensed professionals, I have guest lectured and been an adjunct professor, as well as presented community workshops on mental health.

When I’m not working, I’m an avid music fan, meditation student, Stand Up Paddleboard enthusiast, Star Wars geek, dog lover (cats are welcome), and podcast listener.
